    The Age of Science has ended, and the Second Age of Magic has begun. The dark age for civilization has resulted in feudal societies being formed which wage war upon one another.     It was the same with the Zoids cartoon. That was based on the toys rather than vice-versa.

    Yeah, many of the 80s cartoons were made to be commercials for already created lines of toys - He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was probably the most blatant example but there are many to choose from.

    As for my next show - every episode saw the crew of the Mean Machine resorting to underhanded tactics and losing badly when they backfired - always leading to one member of the crew cursing while the other stood there snickering at him.

    It is Wacky Races, as far as I know they didn't use the Mean Machine in Dastardly and Muttley.
