[IMG] Kivan certainly has the coolest face in Baldur's Gate 1. Ajantis is clearly ugly, but ugly in a holy way :D.

  3. I love the Imoen face. I hate the Edwin face though.

The second updated pic of Edwin looks like he is on steroids and 10000 calories a day.
The Jaheira picture is the one holding the staff right?
God i lobve that pic. Some people have no taste.
In bg2 the imoen one is my fav.

what are you talking about! Edwin's face rocks!

I definitely think it to be the coolest. I use it in SoA as well for one of my mages

Yeah, Edwin has always suited my PC's portrait tastes well. His pic in BG IMO is much better than in BG2. Now as far as ugliest, I think we are missing some good canidates. Adjantis looks stupid, not ugly. As far as scaring your grandmother ugly, maybe Xzar or Monty would be good choices. Coran looks strange and nothing like what his voice sounds like. Otherwise, it's hard to say. Those are my best guesses.

Now I've never had Coran but I have to agree with Crawl he just looks downright strange. Tiax is ugly but still cool nonetheless. Xzar and Monty, ha come on, they are guys every girl would bring home to show their parents ;) :D

I agree whole-heartedly with Lokken and Crawl. Edwin's BG1 face is better than his BG2 face and better than any other face in general. I've used his face for my main char. all the way through TOB and I have been quite pleased with it.

    Maertyn:

Bald man is probably Minsc. Cannot remember any other bald people.

    [That's BALD not balled.] -Tal

There's another bald male pic. He's muscular and topless...has a mustache and goatee if i recall correctly. Think he has a scar too. I've never run across any NPC with that pic.

[IMG] Ferro, you are talking about a picture only meant for PCs. There are about 4 male and 3 female PC-only pics. For my BG1-to-ToB-fighter I took the second one (Knight). Import the premaed "Cleric"-character, they used this picture for that - in my opinion it perfectly suits a barbarian!

Ok I'm not sure if this what you are asking, but I do know you'd like this info anyway so here it is>>>>>

    Custom Portraits:
1)Download a Large and Small picture of the custom portrait you want, good sites will have them sized correctly and ready to download.
2)Stick the Large and Small portraits in the BG portraits folder. Example on my computer it's
    C:bad:Program Files\Black Isle\Baldur's Gate\Portraits
3)Start the game, go to create a character, when choosing the character portrait choose the 'custom' bar below the portraits and find your corresponding Large and Small portraits. Voila -- new portraits!

So here's some places where you can download new portraits:
    http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_editors.php

Ok for the link above there are some on the BG2 page here at this site, but they are portraits just the same it should not matter, most are at the top of the page.

    http://www.sorcerers.net/Community/Links/index.php

These are the links provided here at Sorcerer's Place. Check out Lady Nightshade's, Kitiara's, Havok's, Dudleyville (wrestling portraits) and more for custom portraits (by the way, custom soundsets are similar to portraits, download them and put them in the BG sound folder though)
