    Hi,
I have a question, I have several PC's that have items they can't drop/sell or give to other PC's or NPC's. The items are gems and necklaces that are non-magical. I have all there of the offical patches installed.

Thats just part of the game - they selll rubbish items they have looted, but hang on to gems etc.

Try the 'Humble NPCs' patch at Co8.

One way around this is to load your NPCS with crap and fill up all of their avialble investory slots as soon as possible.

For example...have them pick up the leather boots and gloves that are left laying around after you finishi off the brigands at the moathouse.

Once all of those investory slots are filled, the NPCs won't be able to take anymore items.

I think your question/concern is about your own PC not being able to get rid of junk. You can always drop items to the floor, or place them in containers you find. Remember that most merchants won't buy everything you find, but at least one will buy each item, you just need to note who buys what and who gives better prices for each type. I always place marker flags at each merchant house noting what each buys/sells. Exa,ple: the tailor buys/sell cloth items, but won't buy armor besides padded. The leather worker will buy armor, but not as good prices as the blacksmith.
