    for some strange reason i cant get either of the two gold trainers that i have to work .. can anybody tell me a way to get a lot of gold .. or how to use these trainers .. thanx!

    One method that I found particularly useful was for getting lots of gold was going into a dungeon, killing the monsters, taking their stuff (gold included), wandering back to town and flogging it. In my current game, I now have over 21000 platinum and just under 20000 gold, after about 12 hours of playing. Seriously, though, once you actually start hitting something, the gold just rolls in. One tip - always sell cloaks of elvenkind - nearly 2000 gold if you have a good appraise.

    well, first off, i dont know what "flogging" means .. i can only assume you mean selling or whatever .. i'm not quite that far in the game yet ..

    does anyone here use a trainer or character editor that works ?? .. just curious .. i used to have great succes editing characters and whatnot in BG2 but this game doesnt seem to have the same modding community support ..

    They should all work, and there's also a cheats list on SP.

    are you reffering to the Debug list ?? if so, which one would i use to get gold??

    i dont really want to change my characters stats and stuff as much as i just really want a gold "cushion" .. hehee

    how do you normally use the trainers? .. the 2 that i have that i got from this site say to just put the game on pause or, i am assuming that means to just tab out back to the desktop, and then use the trainer .. then when you tab back you should have the gold .. but theres no gold!! .. i'm sorry for being such a noob but this is frustrating and i wanna play the game .. thanks for any and all help ..

    I can't really help you with specifics as I don't have the game installed... as for the debug list, my bad, I didn't realize there's no gold adding option listed.

    Trainers/cheats have been discussed here before, so try running some searches in this forum.

    i think it looks like the best way to do it is using a hex editor .. however the link to the tutorial that explains how to do it on TOEE is not working .. i've downloaded an editor but which file would i open ?? the character file?
