    Ah! Nice.
I got an account at Hyves.nl.
But since it's Dutch and you have to log in as a member to read my profile, I guess it doesn't make much sense to link you to it.

Also, there is a (former) BoM-member who tries to stay away from us members because he doesn't (yet) want to get addicted to the BoM again.

I have never heard of MySpace before, but these sorts of sites are getting all sorts of negative publicity around here at the moment because of all the school kids who are getting stalked on the net. I think Bebo is the site that the parents and teachers are all up in arms about.

No Myspace for me... I hate that popular crap. I find it stupid. I prefer facebook, which is a school based thing... only my schoolmates and people I select can look at my profile and such.

Myspace is good for music. Our band has an account there, and it's our main way of getting our music out there.

Last.fm is even better for band publicity... try putting your band or your music on it...

MySpace needs to be renamed to EmoSpace, because all you'll find there are middle class whimps, whining about how bad their lives are...it's also a perfect place for child predators to start looking for victims. :nono:

Any parent with an ounce of sense in their heads wouldn't allow their kids to be one any of those sites like MySpace. Judging from all the members registered, there must be a *lot* of senseless parents.

Show some real skill and use HTML and the like to build your own website...not just a crummy 'profile page'. And if it's communication you want...that's what message boards and IRC are for! :thumb:

But I must say, LNT, your friend 'amanda' looks very good looking. :yum: ;) Too bad she lives in NJ. :p :rolling:

    I echo Kitrax's comments re:
    a) child predators - that is why these sites are getting such bad press in NZ at the moment; and
    b) LNT's female friends :yum: (hmm, this kind of provides further support to the first point.....)
