[IMG] Ok... so now my character is blind or something.... i can only see through the fog of war for about 1 unit around my character.. and when i try to cast a spell, say fire ball, on a distant location, my character walks right to that location and casts the spell on himself... what do i do to remove this condition... sorry if this is a stupid question...

it's a bug that should be removed by the patch (available at Sorcerer's Place). Alternativly try going to the nearest temple and buy a 'remove curse' I think (could be another spell but not healing)

I also found that a "Cure disease" spell works as well.

    Line-of-sight bug

There is a bug where the main character suddenly cannot see any further than about 2 ft. in front of him/her. We have figured out a temporary solution to this bug, until a patch is released. Simply cast one of the following spells on your afflicted character and your line of sight will be returned to normal:

Heal (6th level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple)
Neutralize poison (4th level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple)
Cure disease (3rd level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple)
This is fixed in the BG2 Patch

Go and slaughter everyone in Trademeet, and your sight will be restored.

Well, maybe not, but those buggers can be really annoying until you solve their annoying problems.
