This has been happening quite a lot recently... I'm in the middle of some random fight (it happens about every other fight), and the game just... stops. I'm back at my desktop with nothing but a message that says (word for word):

"As Assertion failed in ChVidImage.cpp at line number 1921
Programmer says: BAM is corrupted (GetFrame()failed)"

Other than the fact that it always happens during a battle, I haven't noticed any patterns.

PLEASE help me out if you can, because it's really holding me up! Thanks.

[IMG] try reinstalling the game - suaully means one of the animations isn't working properly or isn't there.

Saved games are usually kept - but backup just in case. Install the patch and make sure any mods you want to put back are compatable and don't have many bugs and are patched :p

Only takes 10 mins to re-install the game man. Just make a copy of your save files before you un-install.

Doesn't take long and it will solve your problem ;)

BTW: I'd recommend installing the patch and fix packs (available here on SP) before you start playing again. That should prevent anymore annoying problems being a a pain in the arse while your playing. Good luck with it :D
