Which is your fave game quote?
    Mine is definately:

    (from Icewind Dale)

Pomab:how dare you speak to me in such a manner! Do you know who I am?

Player:Yes, you are a pompous, little man who runs a little shop in a little town at the arse end of Faerun.

    :p

    Also from Final Fantasy 4:

    Tellah: You spoony bard! :D

Well I'll probably come up with a better one later but this one just came to mind which I always loved.

    BGI-Sarevok

Face me, face the new lord of murder!

Minsc in BG has said a whole lot of good stuff, in fact everything he says is funny. But I really love one of the voices in IWD.

"What do you want now? I got places to go, monsters to kill"

That voice... Without doubt the best one.

    FreeSpace 2, the last mission

"The Cappella sun has gone supernova! I repeat, the Cappella sun has gone supernova. God speed pilots."

I think that's how it goes. Or:

    "Noooooooooooooooooooooooo....<radio static>"
    Sounds so damn good.

Anything from Minsc in BG2 really, but I guess most of all the lines from his encounter with the Pirate Lord in Brynnlaw (can't actually remember any of the lines but I remember I couldn't help but LMAO for an hour after)

Man, I'm reminded of the great dialouge in games like Lunar, Metal Gear Solid, and others, but when I'm put on the spot I can't remember any individual quotes.

    Here's one from Vagrant Story:

    Soldier: Where are the reinforcements?
Ashley Riot: I AM the reinforcements.

Like a true hero should be; cocky and cool. Even if his name is Ashley.

I liked the Terran tank guy from Starcraft:

"I'm about to drop the hammer, and dispense with some indiscriminate justice!"

I also liked this diplomatic exchange (paraphrased) from Alpha Centauri:

[PC]: "According to the UN regulations, you must share with me [x] technology."
[Me]: "So what are you going to do...impose 'sanctions'?!?"

pretty much anything from the Monkey Island series. those games had the best dialogues I've seen in a game. Lucasfilm games always seem to excel in this department :thumb:

Guybrush: I'm on a whole new adventure.
    Pirate: Growing a mustache?
    Guybrush: No, Bigger than That
    Pirate: A beard?!?

    "Marco Largo LaGrande,
Hell on sea or on land
    The Good news-He's dead
    The Bad news-He's bred"

    Pirate: What's your name?
    Guybrush: It's Guybrush.
Pirate: What kinda name is that?!
    Guybrush: Well what's yours?
    Pirate: Mancomb.

Guybrush :WOW! This was well worth $59.95 + tax
(after you see Monkey Island for the 1st time)

My favourites are from Jagged Alliance 2.

Igor - Holy lucky strike! That look like worm at bottom of tequila bottle. I would not like to see bottle.

Malice - Single, white french canadian guy looking for married, black, english, err, sorry bad message.

Ivan - I work hard. Ja manoga raportiet.

Steroid - My lungs are punctured and leaking.

Fox - Well that was worth bending over for.

Buzz - They pulled out early. Typical males.

I'd have to say just about anything Irenicus said in BG2. He has to be one of the coolest villains I've seen. I especially like the ones where he gets pissed and slaughters people like:

"You will suffer! You will all suffer!"

"Understand this as you die; ever pathetic, ever fools!"

Can't remember where I saw this, but it' very funny:

    "Dairus."
    "Yeah?"
"There's a goblin sneaking on you.
    "So?"
    "Just saying..."

[IMG] Of all the funny quotes i've heard, Lilarcor, the two-handed sword in BG2, is probably one to remember, with comments like:

"Find someone rich, and kill him. Then find someone richer, and kill him to. Hack and slash your way to fortune, Wohoo!". "So... Are we gonna kill something now?"...

The ones he said during battle was better though. Also, Volo had some good quotes in BG, like:

"Awfully familiar with that pointer are you?..."

But all will remember Minsc for eternitys to come...

"Minsc will lead with blade and boot, Boo will take care of the details..." There are so many...
    :D

Captain Samand: I just want to find the truth

CHARNAME: You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!

[IMG] From Conkers Bad Fur Day (best game on the n64)-

Conker (to a talking country-farmer-bumpkin-like-yokel pitchfork, if you'd played the game you'd understand lol):
"Were your parents related, like before they were married?"

FF6 - "Why do people rebuild things they know are going to be destroyed?
Why do people cling to life when they know they can't live forever?
Think how meaningless each of your lives is!"
    - Kefka

    Kefka was ace.

I'm curious about Minsc... what do people find funny about him and how is he funny? I think he can be funny in a stupid way but after having him in your party for the fourth time you tend to see it as "less then funny, more stupidity"

But my favourite quote would be from Solaufein (coolest mod NPC ever) Ido what I must when I must, know this well. And second favourite "go to the helipad if you want to live from Mr Blonde in Perfect Dark N64 which is basically an improved Golden eye, but as the saying goes "you can't beat an oldie" ;)
