[IMG] I do recall that someone mentioned a game for the SNES (I think) that began rather similarly to Planescape: Torment. You wake up in a morgue, memory wiped, and on a tray next to you are a scalpel (sp?) for your weapon, and a roll of bandages for your wounds. I think the name had 'Shadow' something in it, but I'm not sure.

    Anyone remember more clearly?

[IMG] The game is Shadowrun for the SNES. There was also a better version in my opinion for the Genesis with the same name. If you are into emulation, I have both ROMs if you would like a copy of each.

ShadowRun is one of the best game ever. It had it all. Intrigue, orcs, guns, elves, computers, ogres, magic, hackers, dwarves, and hordes of enemies. And it ever were on SWEDISH if you bought a translated game. And it was translated good.

[IMG] No, they can't, as that would be illegal.

Has anyone tried 'Tales of Phantasia' or 'Star Ocean?' They were never translated to english by their publisher, but now, thanks to some fans, it is available as such. Go try; I bet most havenĀ“t tried them yet. I think they rank with 'Secret of Mana' and 'Final Fantasy.'

Edit: SSForever, you must use zsnes to play it.

Woot! Tales of Phantasia is finally translated? I pursued that for months some years back.

I found both, but I could only get the translation to work for ToP. Star Ocean runs, but it's gibberish.

edit: not Japanese, GIBBERISH. A big messy blur.
