[IMG] Christian, my set of questions.

    1. What is PS2?

    2. What is so great?

    3. What should I buy, Devil may cry or PS2?

    4. Do you think that I should invest money in XBox or in PS2 or in new PC?

    5. Is it better to buy Arcanum for PC than some anonymous game for something I don't have?

    6. If something is great, I'd like to see some review of yours on it - INCLUDING THE FINAL BATTLE DESCRIPTION.

Extremist, when you wanna spend your money, go for the new pc. However there comes a new Baldur's gate game, for PS2 only....

Alright, basically PS2 (Or P l a y s t a t i o n 2, for Extreme  ) rules, you can modify it to play games based on the day and time that you play it..and Well..Devil May Cry, its jus beyond Incredible. You play it like Resident Evil, except you have a sword, and guns... You wont like it tell you try it, and trust me you wanna try it. There is a few craptastic games for PS2, but this is well worth the buy..along with Metal Gear 2 and Grand Theft Auto 3.

    REVIEW
    ------

The Graphics are a definite 10, they seem to have went in and took every single nook and cranny and gave it detail

The Story Line is a 7, because it is the useual Demon King wants World, You Try to Stop him type deal, but hey its fun.

Combat would be a 9, and thats because at times when you want to pull off certain moves, it goes and makes you do something else..but thats rare, and when you get used to the controls its fixed

On a Fun Factor, its a 10..once you fight those first monsters your gonna love the controls and how awesome it looked slicing them into bits and shooting them up

The levels are also based on Mission starts, so its rare that your stuck with a "Where do I go now Scenario" and lets you play through rather quickly, even with the hard boss fights that just become sick in Hard Mode and Dante Must Die Mode.

The Final battle is disapointment, in the fact that I've faught harder monsters earlier in the game, but I guess at this point its trying to show you that you unlocked the key to your hidden powers and are fully able to fight him on a equal level.

My overall rating would be a 36 outta 40 (add it up..lol) and this does kind of shoot it down a bit, but dont take my word for the poor parts..just play it and see how you like it

well, with Arcanum you have the same but then for PC. The problem with PS2 is that you can only game with it, with a PC you can pause gaming and chat a bit or visit SP when you are stuck somewhere :)

[IMG] Based on your review Majjin I'll never buy the game...
Then again, I'm PS2's worst enemy. And XBox's too. So, no crap from consoles in my house. Even if those were RPGs of the century which is not very likely.

Anyway, this post you just made is pretty nifty, I would like to see that you keep posting in this style and leave the style you used to show in PoR forum - burried.

I'll probably never buy a console either. At least not as long as the PC pretty much equals their performance and I have one of those. Only thing I would ever consider is one of those handhelds.

Only ganes that consoles are good for are those fighting games like Tekken 3. (Love it... I have a habit of hanging in a local game store playing T3 and talking whatnots with people...)

    Or Crash Bandicoot :)

You know what I noticed. PC seem to lack fighting games like TekkenTag or Virtua Fighter. I wonder why that is.

[IMG] I have thought much about a PS2 or an X-Box, but have decided to hold back for now. PC games are on the whole better, but sometimes they're too "edgy", if you know what I mean, like they take themselves too seriously, while PS2 and PS1 games are sort of in and out, check it out, easy access action w/o a whole lot of fuss. I really want to check out "HALO", too. I'm waiting until after I buy a new pc in Jan, then I'l see. The thing with the PS2 is, you get a DVD and a console that plays PS 1 and 2 games, which isn't bad, that's a lot of games. The X-BOX doesn't seem to have many games out at present, and I don't care for the Game Cube as I have never liked Nintendo anything.

All I can say about devil may cry is WOW!

I havn't even gotten far at all and I love it. The combat alone is just outstanding, the only problem is it looks sort of like a game that gets boring in a few weeks but can be fun again a while from now.
