    Half-Orc
    20-16-18-1-3-16
    4 Fighter
    3 Paladin
    23 Barbarian

    Aaasimar
    8-14-16-3-5-20
    2 Paladin
    11 Bard
    12 Sorcerer
    (5?)

The Half-Orc is great imo but i'm having trouble with my Aasimar, thing is that i would like to continue his Sorc lvls after 12 but i would get XP penalty. So i'm left with either 5 more Paladin levels, 5 Sorc levels at XP penaly or evenly distrubute my bard and sorc levels.

Or i could change my Aasimar to a human and forget the paladin class to make a standard bard/sorc.

Why the Bard levels on the Aasimar? Would it not be better to simply have more Sorcerer levels?

    Well why not?

I wanted a Bard but after lvl11, i feel that the Bard looses importances, so i would multi-class him to a Sorc. And i take the Pal lvls for the saving throwns.

    Ah, that I didn't realise.

However, I still feel devoting those levels to the Sorcerer class would make the characer more powerful.

High level caster > Medium level caster with extras

Yes yes i know that but this is what i wanted:

1 Paladin lvls for the saving throws
11 Bard lvls for the songs
18 Sorc lvls for 9th lvl spells

    -Bard 30 < Sorc 19 imo
-so bard 11 and sorc 19 seemed great
-I wanted PAL lvls for the saving throws but unlike NWN, this would yield XP loss, so Aasimar was the only solution.
-But then at lvl 12 Sorc i would get another problem, i would get an XP loss.
-so what to do, loose the PAL level? Get the XP loss {i'm already an Aasimar} , spread lvls evenly? more PAL levels?

*Of course the best solution would be to take the PAL level at lvl 30 but well...

You could change your first char for a cleric X /f ightertype class Y where X>Y. The buffs and the healing spells will make him both better at meleeing and better at helping the party. The cleric-lvls can be exchanged for druid, but then you'll loose many buffs in exchange for some damaging spells.

Number 2 will be much more effectice as high-lvl caster. You can't take bard lvls on a paladin without modding (bards = non lawful). Also bards are great in large parties, but not as useful in smaller parties.

You can't make a Paladin/Barbarian or a Bard/Paladin... looks like you're playing a mod for more powergaming opportunities!

Don't bother about the XP penalty.
You can't reach level 30 without cheating, and if you cheat, then you can cheat for additionally needed XP as well.
You've to cheat to combine paladin with bard or barbarian anyway.

I know i can't mix a Bard with Paladin because of Alignement but i'm using the Ease of Use Mod.

But what's that about not being able to take Paladin levels? Why can't i just take 3 from the start and level up another class afterwards.(without returning to Paladin)

    You can't without cheating.
If you cheat by using EoU you can.
