[IMG] Has anybody seen any real use for the Soul of {insert your character name here} sword? Or is it just a tease?

Some people are such idoits. It's 'The HEART of [charname]', not 'The SOUL of [charname]'. Nitwit.

    @ Verve

How powerful is it? I thought it was just a +1 sword. Does it grow in power as you progress? Because I've been wondering the same thing myself (I'm only about halfway through IWD2).

    @ Ember Silverstar

Mind your manners, please. People make mistakes, especially new members (like yourself). No need to be a jerk.

My name is 'Gwen', not 'Ussta'. 'Ussta kaas zhah' is 'My name is' in Drow. Some people.

@Death Rabbit - It's Velve, not Verve. Velve means blade in Drow, Verve don't. ;)

@Ember Silverstar - You don't have to insult people every time you post. I have seen one post without insults, and it was your first one, a topicstarter.

Fine. Typo, sorry. Some of us aren't fluent in Drow, believe it or not. ;)

Can you answer my question then please?

In normal mode it's just another +1 sword (a cool one, though), but in HoF mode it's a helluva weapon (+5, about +20 to hp, stuff like that).

I was wondering about that. Thanks Frostmage. I kind of felt like it was a waste of money. Now I'm sure of it. Money is scarce enough in the first few levels. I'll sell it immediately.

You have to buy it while playing HoF. HoF version would give you the name "The golden heart of [name]"

Some people believe that the Golden Heart of [CHARNAME] is better than the Light of Cera Sumat. I dont though, I love using the Light of CS with my Drow Paladin.

    Urghazi, I like your paladin.

I love special and twisted characters. I also have and Drow wizard / paladin. He has a nice backstory. His parents were killed when he was a little child. He lived by human monks till he could travel to his people.

He learned from both cultures. Drow and human. When he become a wizard, he found that law is good (it has a system and wizards like system). And he didn't liked any creature doing harm to others. He hepled bot human and drow - some times against his own kin. And then he left his homelands, becaude no one understood him. He swore to protect hepless and to destroy evil. In any form: monsters, human, ... and drow alike. He become a paladin. (this is only a short version of his story).

He uses Cera Summat. Maybe he will dual wield with HoF version of Heart of Sunkar Humn Fulram (this is his name :) ).
