I heard there is a turn based combat system available but I don't know how to activate it. If there really is such a system it would be pretty useful. How do I activate turn based combat?

    Welcome to Sorceror's Place! :)

It's not a different mode per se. You need to do it with the Auto-Pause settings. I think there might be one for "End of Round". If you check that, it'll pause at the end of every round so you can issue your orders for the next round right away. I myself like to make the game pause after a spell is cast and when a party member dies.

Thanks a lot =) It really is important beacause it's difficult to control all 6 chars in real time (order one to cast, other to attack, other one to heal etc.) =)

I have the same settings as you, Western Paladin.

One annoyance is that if a party member uses a spell item, or if his spellcasting fails (from taking damage or whatever), that doesn't count as "a spell is cast", and he will stand around doing nothing till I notice.

A very minor annoyance is that when a summon dies that counts as a party member dying for purposes of auto-pause.
