freezing at orc fight

    THE LOGGING VILLAGE
    when the orcs ambush you after torak talks to you and you say the only response you have the game freezes theglobe is spinning and the people wiggle but dont move and if i let it sit there the party members whine about sitting there and i cant open menus and have to close the game hard

    I believe that is the official patch version numbers are you running any other mods that might be effecting the game? If so you may want to uninstall them and try the game without them and see if it still crashes - if it does not you will have narrowed the problem to the mods and can install them one at a time and discover which one. If it still crashes then its probably an issue with your machine.

    i uninstalled it and reinstalled it with out mods i dunno if it makes a difference if i used my old saves or not but it still froze i have an nvidia graphics card and all my stuff is past what it needs but the problem that i can tell is the npc that speaks and is supposed to walk away and he dosnt walk away for some reason

    Thats not too far into the game I'd probably try a new party without the mods and see if it still happens.

    I play with a nvidia geforce FX Go5200 64MB VRAM and have had no issues here.

    I have not used any mods in this game but if a mod you installed changed the scripts for this conversation that could indeed be the issue while it seems more doubtful that the conversation file is corrupt without mods.
