    [​IMG] I just picked this game and so far I've been blown away. NWN? screw that..give me the Spine of the World.

    Now, on to some questions.

    1- How would a Demarch of Mask/Bard do?
    The reason why I ask is because I came across a great portrait of a half-elf on DragonLordJones.com. He has this grim haughty look on his face and was wielding a rapier

    2- Are there ANY item customization sites on IWD2?

    Ah well:)

    So what do you think..? Would a Bard of Mask do well in the game?

    In addition to the bard and cleric spells, I think throwing in some thief skills would make him a good character...

    The only problem I can see is where will you put ability points. Most race/class combinations can be good but some may have lots of key abilities.

    A bard/cleric would need good Cha/Wis and perhaps Dex (If you want to be any good with at fighting (there are no rapiers unfortunately so you will have to make do with a short sword)) and Int (if you want lots of skills).

    For race, Human if you want skills, Aasimar if you want ability points (+4 points and in the 2 abilities you most want).

    Considering how diverse the game is, and all the options for correction you have since the game is based on 3e rules, it'd be really hard to make a character that didn't work out well. As for bards, I really can't give you any concrete advice since I never play them.

    [​IMG] Don't think so i tried but no one has anything to steal :(
    Why need to steal?Better spend your points on disarm search hide and so on.My thief\fighter\barbarian has over 40% of the kills and half are from backstab :)
    Also a thief\wizard is making a cool charakter.
    There is a bug I think - rapid shot feat gives you an extra attack even with crossbow....

    yeah you have point..not really much to pickpocket or steal.

    heh, I just had a funny idea for a mod... since the town is embroiled in war, wouldn't it be cool to run a smuggling ring or something?

    It's a must to pickpocket the Lucky Knucky in Prologue, which is a very fine item. And it's definitely useful to have this skill, since you can easily steal a lot of useful stuff pretty early on, and in later stages. Not much in terms of money, but it saves you money since you can pickpocket a lot of potions, if nothing else.

    [​IMG] Oswald is in the town. He's in the north, relatively eastern section if I remember correctly. There's a big ship with a balloon on top of it. If you go a bit east of the wood piles by the crane and straight north, then you should find him. Good luck!
