Help with the Ice fortress

I can't seem to kill the last of the three sisters in the ice fortress? I can hurt her but she stays at near death. Do I have to kill her with a spell? I did use the cheat to get in her room. Any suggestions?

I think you have to go into the game room and go to another plane to kill her.

 

Yup, y'gotta use the other switch in the battle-square room, the whole party becomes etherial (like Oria) and then you can kill her... BTW, if you have any other enemies left to kill, try killing them while you're etherial (hee-hee), you'll slap yourself for not doing it that way from the start...

 

I tried to get to the plane in the game room and can pick up to level 10 to battle or can repair the lightning "cannon" here too. I cannot find this plane you spoke of can you give me more direction?

There are two mode switches near the SW corner of the gaming room. By combining those two switches you get 3 different setups: Game, Repair and Sanctuary(can't quite remember). The one we are looking for is the Sanctuary one. Then just pull the activation lever and a blue sparkling gloom should turn you ethereal - or by as it seems the last priestress normal - after that it's peace of cake. :=):

 

I did find the Sanctuary mode but when I try to activate it the Ice golem tells me Mode is currentyl under development? Then mode deactivated. Do I have to do something first. I did destroy the alter and helped nathaniel.

 

That's the one. It told me the same before I killed the 3rd priestess for the first time.

There is a bug where the ethereal priestess doesn't appear thus making it impossible to kill her and get away from the glacier, but it seems she has appeared since you talk that you can't kill her?

Anyway - After she appears then just run with your party (or with single character - it works that way too for your whole party) to the gaming room and pull the lever when sanctuary mode is on. It should work now. At least it worked for me and the walkthroughs tell you to do so.

If it doesn't work try to do it while she (the priestess) is in the gaming room also. I don't know if it matters but it won't hurt you to try.

I read the thread again and... you haven't killed the mortal one! Everybody is talking about how to kill the "4th" priestess.

1st Why did you use cheat to go into her room? You only have to complete one game of battle squares to get the key to her chamber.

2nd The priestess kills herself when she gets near death or badly wounded (can't remember) with the wand of power she is carrying. Make sure your party still has some healt left by then and try to keep your party members apart from each other, that way the blast she makes won't hurt everybody.

3rd After a while she re-appears as ethereal so you can't hit her at all and this is when you have to go to the gaming room and then the sanctuary mode suddenly works. Then just kill her - it should be piece of cake.

It may be that the door to her chamber has to be open. Don't know why but it really isn't that hard to get it open. Did you get dialogue options when you attacked her?
