I can't really vote on this poll because it depends on which character I play.

I sometimes play an evil fighter/thief. For roleplaying purposes, he's a bad boy who craves the power of godhood. Viconia urges him on, not to let himself fall short of the glory on her account. The varying epilogues for Viconia end up justifying my evil character's decision to leave her as well.

When I'm playing a good elf fighter/mage, I always choose to stay a mortal. Part of it is, in his place, I'm not sure I could trust carrying the taint.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, even godhood is not worth losing Jaheira forever. :D :)

[IMG] Cool, and thank you for your reply. It's ok if you didn't vote. I try to think of it in terms of a Forgotten Realms world. And if I was really there in that situation I think that I would choose to be a god. I would take whatever I could get. That's just my opinion.

Becoming the lord of murder doesn't sound that good to me, so I always choose to say mortal.

Maye if something else came with it like most Gods...i.e. lord, of Murder, Distruction, Hate, and evil rouges. But since you only get one thing to be lord of, it isn't worth it to me. :rolling:

I always chose to become a god apart from the one time I chose to remain mortal to see the ending. But almost whenever I RP the game, it ends up feeling like a copout to avoid fufilling your destiny like that. As for the romance, come on, he's a god now, surely you can spare a little time and help Viconia ascend to goddess-hood. That should have been an option for the ending. By the way, did it really have to be assuming Bhaal's portfolio? Because I thought Cyric had stolen that. But, it has been a while since I've played BGII.

Ow, I've never chosen the goodhood... true, I have replayed the final battle and chosen the goodhood to see the movie, but... after seeing Jaheira's reaction... I punched myself in the nose for making her feel like that :(
