Hi everyone I just have quick question. I just bought the game w/ throne of bhaal and the mouse is REALLY choppy. I have a p4 with plenty of power. Is this something I did wrong or is it the way the game is? Thanks

AK - Welcome, and you might try downloading the latest patch. It may help. Also, check to see if there are too many apps running in the background during gameplay. Just right click and exit any programs that may be on your taskbar (anti-virus, software firewalls, or any other programs that may be chewing up resources and clock-cycles. Hope that helps.

At one point the scroll button would'nt work because of incorrect mouse drivers so that might be involved in this as well.

Does it screw up in Windows too? Cleaning the mouse's guts with a knife might help. BG2 also gets sluggishly slow in hardware mode.

That one depends on what processor / video card you have. If you're running something with a Pentium 4 and a geforce 1 then perhaps software is the way to go. I think it's way likelier though that it's simply a matter of frame rates.

Yes, Try your frame rate and check your graphics options. My game did the same thing till I went with less graphics. What Rastilin said makes sense. What kind of processer and graphics card do you have?
