    It's in the southern part of the district. The door is heavily trapped so you'll know when you there.

    An easter egg? Let's not confuse mediums, now.

    I thought the way the Twisted Rune incident occurred was well done. Imagine my, and my party's, surprise. Taught my thief a valuable lesson.

    IIRC, in one of my games (or maybe more) I've found a rogue stone (don't remember where) that had a completely different caption, than the others on it.

    Here is the caption in the normal RS:

    A small, shifting, rainbow coloured, irridecent gemstone. The fluid shades of colour appear almost liquid under normal sunlight, it is truly a beautiful sight to behold. Rogue stones are extremely rare and are used for the gemjump spell, hence one of the most sought after gems in the Realms.

    Here in the one I found:

    I am in the Bridge District of Athkatla. Why kind of tricks are you playing on me?

    there have been suggestions that the Twisted Rune was part of a mega-quest that included the slavers, the guarded compound and even the tanner. Unfortunately the quest wasn't fully implemented.

    there's a patch on Baldurdash that adds that rogue stone to the loot in the guarded compound.
