When I first enter Windspear Hills (after having talked to Firkraag), I get attacked by ogres/knights and windspear invites me to his cabin.
When I enter however, the only thing he says is: "This matter has weighed heavily upon me, I fear. Thank you for your efforts in all things".

Now, I think that's what he's supposed to say after I did everything, but I didn't do anything yet. He's supposed to tell me about what a peace of sh*t Jierdan Firkraag is and then his daughter should get kidnapped. But none of this happens.

I already tried killing Garren. This results in his daughter turing hostile, but she also talks the dialog that she's supposed to after Garren normally leaves. Then she gets kidnapped and stuff, so things were looking up again.
However, when I kill all of the bandits, the game takes away my head up display and 'waits' for something.
I think Garren is supposed to show up then and ask you to retrieve his daughter. Problem is, he's dead. And since he doesn't show up and I can't do anything. I just have to shut down the game (ALT + F4) and start over.

This kind of sucks and I was wondering if anybody knew a solution to this bug. I don't know, maybe a CLUAConsole command or something?

I don't suppose you installed the WeiDU version of the Multi-Stronghold mod. If you did, then this is a known bug which has been discussed for quite some time. Recently however, I read the bug has been fixed in the newest version of WeiDU.

Anyway, there is a console command to fix this but I don't remember it. Try looking into the archives at Weimer's board and look for a topic that says "Multi-Stronghold doesn't work". There were console commands for many of the stronghold-related problems there.

if you're not trying for a paladin stronghold, then I've discovered you can just turn him invisible. He's "vanish" from the screen and the dialogue, kidnapping, etc will occur.

afterwards, he'll return and it'll go from there, but will never "end". So you can never really do the stronghold quest, but at least you'll move on.

    Thanks guys.

I looked on the WeiDU board and there they said the mod wasn't really good, so I uninstalled it. Now I have another one, and so far, everything is going fine.
