Underdark, Dragon Eggs, help

    Is there ANY way to obtain the eggs from the temple, without alerting the guards??

    Take a cleric (basically I'm talking about my old friend Anomen) cast improved invisiblity on him and cast Sanctuary. In and out no fuss.

    [​IMG] My max-level party sent in a combat team: Donaldus (lvl-17 halfling cavalier w. flail-of-the ages, Minsc (lvl-17 ranger w. halberd +4 ´Dragonbreath` (?!)) and Kheldorn (lvl-17 inquisitor w. Carsomyr) opened the door, closed it to prevent escape and killed everyone/ everything inside easily.

    Then they exchanged the eggs and went away. The silly thing about that part of the story is that no one will get suspicious when the onlything interesting in the room seems untouched while four golems and three guards are destroyed/ dead on the floor :rolleyes: they schould have left something to loot there ... :(

    For the Dark Elves, the eggs are the greatest loot there is!
    I mean, it calls that terrible demon, that will help them regain their territory in the upperworld of elves and leave the
    Underdark!
    What greater loot is there than that!
    And, the eggs are silver, I suppose if you bring them along to Athkatla, you might get an awful lot of money... After all, there aren't many of those things... ;)

    You have to kck the Egg-Guards very fast, then the other guards won't be alerted so without using any spells you can simply change the eggs without getting problems with the Matron Guards etc.

    [​IMG] My point was that: Even drows aren´t stupid. So when entering a room with your pretious, stolen dragon eggs and see it full of corpse and golem rubble - wouldn´t you get at least a wee bit suspicious?

    Thank evreyone. I went with the, "kill the guards quickly plan" and it went off without a hitch. I wasn't to happy about the Silver Dragon throwing me into a trap on the way put, but I got through that as well.

    Ragusa ----> While doing the quest I thought about that and I did also found it srange that nobody would notice 2 death guards on the ground.

    Maybe they noticed it but saw the eggs where still there?

    IMHO - You're thinking way too deep for this one! Maybe I'm just simple minded, but I guess they set this up so that parties w/o thieves can still obtain the eggs.

    (Yeah, thinking like this kind of ruins the fun, but I can't help it.)

    Doesn't matter if you have thieving skills, when you open the door, the guards will always attack you, thioef or not doesn't matter.

    Are you even ALLOWED to kill the demon lord that's summoned? All my hits were like "Weapon Ineffective". Sux0rez. Besides I'm Chaotic Good ;) Go Dragon! Yaay!

    [​IMG] I guess you aren´t allowed to kill that demon lord. I found it appropiate for a cavalier (specialised in fighting demons & dragons) and ordered my whole party to attack but though we caused some 40 damage the beast just said goodbye and disappeared - I was rather disapointed about that. Could have been a *really* challenging fight
