[IMG] I recently installed ToB. I'm not done with BG2 yet but I figured what the heck, I can go through Watcher's Keep before I leave Chapter 6.

Anyway, I've had an odd problem crop up 3 times now since installing ToB. I'll change scenes and all the screen controls will be gone. The game still works. I can bring up the controls by hitting the space bar to pause the game. I unpause, they disappear. Changing scenes again doesn't bring them back.

So far the only "fix" seems to be going back to the last save point where screen controls were intact. Anybody have any thoughts?

Oh, I'm running it under Win2K at 1024x768 and I *am* running the latest patch.

By pressing 'H' you can remove all the sidebars and stuff. I always play without them, looks much better. (They are turned on when you pause the game, otherwise spellcasting might be a bit tricky.) 'Y' and 'U' remove only the left and right sidebars, respectively.

Huh. Well. Believe it or not I did look through the manual and never saw that. I wonder what's randomly toggling that? I'll have to see if that works the next time it happens. Thanks!
