    [​IMG] Since I can't find any DD thread with any real substance, I thought we should start one. This is as good a place as any.

    Post all your questions, hints, problems, etc. about Darkest Day mod here.

    For those new to Darkest Day, it's a really big (266~300+mb) mod that goes with Bg2. They now have one compatible for ToB. Tons of items, NPCs, quests and claims to give 30 more hours of playing time.

    But as with many mods, there is lack of walkthroughs, and informations that go with it.

    I believe TDD is only officially supported now as part of the Big Picture mod, hosted at http://www.forgottenwars.net so it's probably best to post discussions in the Completed IE Mods section of http://forums.forgottenwars.net - they are pretty knowledgeable about it there so you will probably get more accurate answers faster.

    Since TeamBG is down, I think the official download site is at IEGMC mirror (don't recall the URL but it will be found from http://modlist.pocketplane.net )

    For my two cents, I wouldn't recommend this mod. It is old and has been abandoned by more than one generation of caretakers; it is buggy, the plot is weak, the NPCs have little interaction, the items and spells are overpowered and the spelling and grammar is poor. I understand some flaws have been fixed since incorporation into the aforementioned BP mod, but I'd still not recommend it. :)

    True, Darkest Day is chock full of mistakes that need patching, but nevertheless, it is a big mod, and if one wants to enjoy it, might as well cooperate and help each other out.

    Anyhoo, this thread is for those in Sorcerer board that wants to talk about DD. Pretty much anything'll go - hints, tips, criticism, etc.

    I'll start - anyoneelse have a really screwed up world map??

    I have a couple of questions? :)
    When can i install TDD? At the beginning or can i just install it anytime (like in chapter 6 right after the underdark)? Will the new equipment stay when i uninstall it?
    Well I quess that's it. :)

    And that line says alot hehe.
    The dialogue in it looks like its been written by a child. No capitol letters at the beginning of names etc.

    But to their credit they have done an awfull lot of work on the mod.
    If they fixed it up ALOT it would be marvelous.
