I was scrounging around in a bookshelf in the temple of helm in the temple district when I came across a strange potion called "Festule the Alchemist's potion". I have never seen it before, you can't drink it or put it into a quickslot or anything.
    The text about it is:

This potion will supposedly incapacitate an ogre. The small handwritten lable warns against geeding it to anything other than an ogre, as the taste has been perfectly designed to appeal to said race. In other words the potion is disgusting and will induce vomiting in anyone other than an ogre.

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me and the picture for it is tacky looking so I don't think it's for anything in particular. If I am missing something will someone please tell me? THanks in advance.

    Cheers, Void

It's part of Mazzy's quest. Not usable for anything else.

    [IMG] Hi,

Adding a little more to Tal's info :).

If you have Mazzy in your party go and visit the copper coronet.

    Cheers,

[IMG] Hmmmm, thats odd; trying not to spoil anything, I never used a potion of any sort in the completion of Mazzy's side quest. Is it just something to help if your party is of especially low level and would thus find Mazzy's quest difficult?

    [IMG] Hi,

As with most quests in the game there are several ways of completing them. If you choose the right dialogs you can end up obtaining the potion and receive a little extra xp and make things a little easier for Mazzy.

    Cheers,

    WittyNewt.
