Well, currently I have no SO, but let's take my exGF.

She wasn't overly enthousiastic, but she knew I enjoyed it and respected my choice. Occasionally she'd make playfull jabs about it, but never anything serious.

My guess is she just considered it a hobby of mine, and thought little else of it.

Well, my current partner can't understand them at all but she's only commented once or twice.

Some women will just never understand.

My wife can't understand why I spend so much time at the computer, not that I do, she feels that I should be more interested in her though. (Crap did I just say that?!)

Rather than enjoying the RPGing I managed to convince my ex to read Forgotten Realms books. She's not into computer games full-stop and I don't even like the tabletop element (don't hurt me :( ). She was especially interested in Planescape: Torment and its storyline at times she asked if I could play it for her and she could watch... she didn't want any input she just wanted to see my reaction to the situations the Nameless One faced.

Mutual love of RPGs is one of the reasons Velcro and I knew it was going to last.

She's not into modern computer games in general; she thinks they're too complicated. (Tetris is about as complex as she can handle).

She hates them with a passion. Any time I spend playing them is deemed "ill-used" and to some extent, she has a point. As a father, full-time employee with a 1.5 hour commute each way, church-volunteer (and more) my time is very limited and I had been staying up until 2am to play, waking up at 5:30 am for work and acting gumpy in between.

Peter Pan had a good point ... growing up stinks!

My girlfriend don't play herself, but she thinks it looks cool and wanna try it herself sometime. The problem is that she moved 450 kilometres away just before the summer so we haven't had the chance.

It is complicated. On the other hand, I did make no secret about my vices. No, I didn't.

my last significant other was not into RPGs, but she saw the fun I have playing them and understood what I like in RPGs.

On the other hand she got me addicted to Rollercoaster Tycoon :p

My wife says, that the men should play ... he who plays has no time for other (potentially more dangerous) things :p . The problems start, when we are spending with her son 3 hours trying to win some hard battle :D .

Heh, She's pretty neutral on them.. Though she reads Harry Potter (Yuck! :) ).. I've tried to indulge her into the fine arts of Salvatore and Weis, but she has no patience to wait for the "boring" beginning to end :D

And she ALWAYS complains to me that i'm spending too much time with computer and games.. possibly true, since I play alot, always have, always will :D

Sigh, it was much easier when we lived apart :D
now it's totally different since she has no good friends yet here and I play nearly all the time (since there ain't better thing to do:D )

Well all of my girlfriend's past boyfriends have been computer geeks. One is even played BG2. Se she doesn't mind them, as long as I spend time with her when we are together instead of ignoring her and just playing games the whole time.
