Autumn because it's dark and rainy then. I like that gloomy atmosphere. Temperature is nice, not too hot. Good period for some angst, if you like.

Autumn, hands down. But where I grew up, we got like maybe a few weeks of autumn before winter, so I never got to experience much of it. Oh wells.

Up here ? Got to go for summer. Pleasantly warm, plenty of light and nature really is in a hurry, which means lots of flowers bloom at the same time. Winter is really nice as well, but six-seven months of it are a little bit too much...

I like late spring early summer.
Summer for the weather but then in spring it's great to watch new born lambs jumping around, chasing each other. Or see new leaves on the stupid trees that have a habbit of going leaf-less once a year...

Winter for me, because then I can ride my twin-tip skis all the time, and play computer in the evenings....

Definitely summer. The warmth and lush trees are nice, as well as the shining ocean. :)

Winter. Lots of darkness, snow (hopefully) etc. Gives a sort of a "not-guilty" feeling when you're inside and somehow creates a mystical atmosphere that makes everything from games to movies to books to simple discussions with friends a lot more interesting.

Spring, not too hot, not freezing cold. A good time for either running around or bludging the day away.

I'm actually really surprised at how many people also like fall. (It was winning when I voted.) Fall's been my favorite season for quite some time I think mostly because I never get sick of it. I love Summer and Winter but near the end of it, I just want it to be done and over with, it seems like it lasts too long. And I agree with Chevalier, there's just something peculiarly cruel about Spring that I can't put my finger on. But Autumn is a season I never get tired of -- and it's pretty "short" here anyways.

Like last year it lasted a month. That month I was in the hospital... I went in wearing shorts during 80 degree weather and I came out and all the leaves were gone, I'd missed Halloween, and I needed a ski jacket because it was cold and snowy. And I was only in 1 month!!

And I dunno, even though Fall is back to school season, it also means the start of Tech Crew again, my friends all coming back from camps and summer jobs, and also a chance that even if I messed things up last year, I can fix them all again this school year. And also it's color guard season which I LOVE! And I like Halloween even more than Christmas (pumpkin carving, people going around in capes, LOADS of candy, can you get any better???) And of course I love the changing of the leaves. And the smell. Fall has the best smell to it. Winter's just too cold to really have a decent smell and Spring's smell is too new and Summer's too hot. But Fall, Fall is crisp happy sweatshirt and jeans weather when everything smells. . . good. :) And I always do the most writing in fall because I stop watching TV because I suddenly have homework again. So yeah, I definitely had to put my vote with fall. ;)
