    I am currently working on a cllection of Metallica songs that I think deserve to be on my version of, "The Best of Metallica" album. Since I don't have the money to go out and buy all 15+ albums, I need your help on which songs should be on my CS(s).Here's what I have so far:
    The Unforgiven
    The Unforgiven 2
    Whiskey In the Jar
    Fuel
    Nothing Elses Matters
    No Leaf Clover

    I still have a long way to go, and hopefuly you guys can help. :rolling:

    Garage INC is a cover album.It has many good covers like Whiskey in the jar,Sabbra cadabra, Turn the page,Free speech for the dumb,Tuesday's gone,Last Caress&Green Hell.
    S&M is Symphony and Metal(lica?)
    something orchestra and Metallica did a really good job at connecting these two types of music,whatever you do,listen S&M.It has

    Kill em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, The $9.98 CD ...and Justice for ALL(minus One) Those five complete albums are the best of Metallica, everything else is complete crap :flaming:

    Aaaah - the age-old debate: new stuff or old stuff! Why can't people accept the fact that artists change, grow, get older, get smarter, get new ideas and outlooks, get new hairstyles from time to time. Does it really matter in the long run??

    Why can you not admit that some artists get WORSE with time and not better? Change can be bad...

    In this case I would definitely agree that Metallica's better stuff was in their early years, when they toured with Megadeth and were actually a metal band...

    I disagree...though I like about 98% of their songs, I would have to say that thier newer stuff is better than the old stuff. :rolling:
