SoU expansion - problems in the Snow Globe

    Hi,

    I am playing Neverwinter Nights Shadows of Undrentide Expansion and I am stuck at the level of the Snow Globe (chapter 3) where I would need some help to kill the White Dragon and get the first Word of Power. I apologize because for some of you my question might seem too basic... But everybody was an apprentice at one stage.
    After several unsuccessful attempts, I looked for some help and found your server and the guides with walkthrough but I am still not able to go forward.
    So here is my problem. I first tried to fight the Guardian White Dragon or Winter Fang but kept missing him and died more than I wished. I then found the diaries and the broken Amulet of the Ages which I got repaired by Hood the leader of the Dwarves. At that stage I am not able to talk to Arwyl (Leader of the Dryads)because it is snowing and all the Dryads are hostile. Thus I can not get the magic back into the drained Amulet of the Ages. What should I do and do I need the Amulet to kill the White dragon.
    Thank you all in advance for your help.

    The amulet makes it easier by damaging the dragon.

    What you need to do is leave the globe and turn it so that it's not snowing. Then the dwarves will be hostile and the dryads not.

    Thanks that helped indeed... I should have thought about it! But for some reason I thought I could not use the gate to go out before the end of the quest. Anyway with the amulet the dragon was a real piece of cake.
