Stuck in the Main Halls...

    [​IMG] There are blockades everywhere! The peeps up in the tree said something about glyphs and words. Where to I find the words? I have difficulties proceeding...

    For god's sake...

    There is only one Glypth in Main Halls. It is Glypth of Gobtaban and keeps you from reaching someone called Preybelish (or something). But at your stage that is irrelevant...
    No other "blockade" is unpassable if you have the right key AND/OR THIEF in the party. Besides, try to peek on the map and see where you haven't been already.

    Blah, blah, blah. There are blockades everywhere, and I've run everywhere several times. I have 2 keys (a dwarven and another one not remembered), but there are no doors as far as I see it. I do not have a thief either.

    Edit:

    The other key was the key of living, and who would have guessed that there was a door just by the entrance which the key actually fitted in? Doors are well hidden...

    You may want to return to where you entered there is a door to your right, that is locked until you find the key. Also you may want to try a few things, like turning on the dice roll option, THis will give you a heads up if you pass a secret door. You won't always be able to find it, but if you walk around it enough you may get lucky

    How do you think to finish the game mate?
    Saving throws on all traps? NVL.
    Bashing doors? NVL.
    Detecting secret doors by others? NVL.

    Of course it is complettable. But don't complain how it is hard and how it sux. Besides, you can always turn your NPCs to multiclass while levelling up, remember?

    I have not complained about the game being hard. I made it harder by playing with three characters.

    You never give up, do you?

    You've made game EASIER because your party of 3 will get levels quicker than party of 4.

    If you want to play solo, fine. But don't lie it is harder when you'll have more experience than us who play with 6 party members because it's "easier" with more NPCs. Easier my ass. Besides that, it is also SLOWER. Think on it, willya?

    Heh I chose to play with 2 chars since less management is required besides, I thought they'd level up faster. ( I have a rogue/sorcerer 2/1 and a fighter/cleric 1/1.

    Not exactly true. For the xp gained from battles is outright funny, and the quest xp is per person, doesn't get divided between your chars. So very small difference there.

    And it definitely is not easier. I mean my 2. level characters with +4 to hit or so are fighting against 4 orcs with 20+ AC. They never hit lol. And one of the orcs had like +11 to hit :D Finally I figured i had a wand of cone of cold and used it. It dealt like 60+ damage to all and wiped them out lol. This is so out of whack.

    I'll get an npc char asap.

    In any case I am enjoying this game. But the rogues level up about 2 times faster than the other chars. That's also not balanced. Not that I'm complaining.

    I think the main halls continue ad infinium. I've never before seen a dungeon this huge :)

    Whatever. I still think that:
    less NPCs in party = easier game.

    Dungeons are huge indeed. Too huge.

    its at this point here that we shift back into molluskens previous thread about how much this game sucks because its all the conversation is turning into
