Shouldn't Rangers have druid spells?

I was just thinking about this, and It applies to the other games (BG/BG2) as well, but since Im playing iwd now, figured I would add it here...

I think Rangers should get druid spells as they progress instead of cleric spells. the way I see it, A Ranger is sorta like a combo between a Fighter and a druid (Or at least should be) Much the same way a pally is sort of like a cross between a cleric and a fighter (which is why it makes sense for a palidin to get cleric spells)

Come to think of it, does anyone know what file/s designate which spells rangers have access to? Just wondering if theres a way I can edit the game files so that rangers get druid spells

 

Rangers get druidic spells at level 6 in IWD. The level was lowered in this game instead of level 9. A multiclass R/C can get both sets of spells at Ranger level 6.

 

DOH! lol thanks kuemper, I just now saw that they in fact *do* have druid spells..before I posted that, I just took a quick look at the spells my level 9 Ranger had, and at first glance I thought they were cleric spells lol thanks for pointing that out to me *bashes head repeadily against his desk*

No problem. I had a moment of with my first R/C multiclass. I was used to how they could get cleric and druidic spells at once. I had no idea I needed to wait until level 6 to get both.
