[IMG] I have a problem I hope someone can help me with. I'm in the Shattered Hand. I found the first two pieces of the Astrolabe (first floor, war room), but when I got the third piece from that elven priestess (after killing her) and went to put it with the other two pieces, the first two had disappeared from my inventory as if I'd never had them. I've since given Laren's assistant the third and fourth pieces, but he's still waiting for me to give him the first two. I've gone back to where I found the first two, but they are not there. Now I'm stuck and can't progress to the next chapter. Does anyone know what happened to these pieces? How can I fix it? Even Interplay - THOSE BASTARDS! - offered no help.

I'm sure I don't know what happened to the two pieces you lost, but you should be able to get them back using the cheats. That's what the cheats are really for. I don't know what the codes are for these items, though. Probably someone does.

I got the same problem. Either you use the cheats, or you UltraEdit your character and insert the code for the astrolabe's missing parts (as you already have one piece, check it and the last number goes from 1 to 6). Good luck

[IMG] Thanks for everyone's input. I've been leery of installing the patch and using the editor for fear that it would mess things up worse or ruin my existing game in some way. I've had bad experiences with patches in the past. But I guess there's no way around it. Thanks again.
