      Just saw this -- nice classic shot of a broadside. This is a complete broadside as both the Main Battery (16"/50 cal) and the Secondary Battery (5"/38 cal) on the starboard side are all firing -- 15 guns.

      I hate to disappoint you but the ships really didn't move sideways at all when firing the guns. What you are seeing is the affect of the pressure wave cascading down the side of the ship. It's a cool affect though.
