Neither Trump, nor anyone in his camp believes they've won the election, if that's what you mean.

Well I agree with Shadowcouncil in that tRump is a narcissist.

@catbert I think there are a lot of trump followers who really do believe he's won the election. He's cultivated conspiracy theorists and grown a movement. Conspiracy theorists are more than willing to accept radical ideas because of the nature of their thought processes. Rump maybe an arsehole but he's quite a good con artist.

What I mean is Trump himself has accepted the result, as did every member of his campaign. None, or at least not the most of them, are in any way delusional about the outcome of the election. When Giuliani goes on stage and talks about the imaginary "widespread fraud", or when they blanket file the various lawsuits, it's not for the purpose of actually overturning any results.

It keeps the donations going, so they will be playing this game for years. There are more insidious political side effects, but mostly it seems to be about making money hand over fist through the contributions by the faithful.

I’m pretty conservative but I have never voted for Trump. I didn’t like him on The Apprentice, I thought he was just a egotistical jerk. Now he’s on an ever bigger stage and I realize underestimated him back then ... he’s even more of a self-centered jerk than I ever imagined.

I don't hate him but I'm glad he lost the election and that Biden will be replacing him as President. I suspect if Biden releases or stops the block on releasing bits of information that Trump will be found to have been more corrupt than people realize.

He is correct in that you seem to be blaming the wrong source and letting the person who is wrong off.

Not at all, Rape is a disgustingly violent crime and drawing a political comparrison for support reasons shows a clear lack of understanding, perhaps your minds blow that way but I can assure you rape victims feel very differently, come back and tell me it's the same when you, your wife or your children have lain victim.

As for Trump (notice I don't childishly mispell it) he means nothing or at the most very little to me, though here I can see that there is a political twist where he is being demeaned in such a manner that was pointed out, obviously you are as free to air your views as (while a still member) am I, but it would seem an extremely unballenced ratio, compared to the USA population that voted, therefore I come to the conclusion that you feel by shouting me down you will be right... you won't, and that boys, is a fact

It's well documented that tRump, (not misspelled, just pointing out his most obvious feature.) has many sexual assault allegations, and these come from legitimate sources. If you honestly care about rape then you are definitely pointing your finger in the wrong direction.

Please don't be so stupid, I could allege anything I wished simply by knowing where a powerful (or even not so powerful) person was in their history, and as the world and his mate are being led by the nose into anger by the press backed by 'who knows?' they are more than willing to ran't untruths about untruths,
And if you'd ever dated you might understand the complexeties of a girl/guy trying to guess how far he/she could go (without a written consent requirement under some laws) it's generally how sexual relations are started, try, but stop if you're told, they look uncomfortable or resist, and remember, any occasion could be used as sexual assault case.

Now I presume you're accussation of Donald Trump of rape is supported by evidence, you know names, dates, places, and most importantly reliable witnesses, until then you're just another media source that's venting rubbish.

I just hope that you eventually stop believing what other people scrawl on placards, and either look to the bottom to find the truth, or simply ignore them as the malcontented fools they in many cases are, but remember, you only have a limited time on the planet so enjoy it instead of being angry at it.

Either way, I am not finding playground antics of the forums as tastefull as I had the Sorcerers site earlier in my Baldurs Gate life, consequently I won't follow the forums further, any replies to the detrement of my post will be for your own amusement... I simply will neither know nor care.

Defending someone who is on record admitting to their sexual assault with pride is a strange hill to die on, but you do you. Keep fighting the good fight.

Lol funny how he rants and cries and then announces that he won't be available to read replies. Guess he really isn't as concerned about sexual assault as he says he is. Nice attempt at intimidation for an amateur but obviously he's too scared for a real debate, the way he ducked out of here.

I say go ahead and let SaggyAss call me stupid, because he's obviously down to his last resort as far being able to logically debate. :p

Don´t say that. After all there are elections every few years and my guess is that the next election about who is the most geriatric POTUS or a Trump that shouts out "I´ll be back!" once the new government has started actually to do something and in doing so inevitably hurt the feelings or interests of someone will make it even more funny (at least for people who do not actually have to live there...)

Sad thing is your right. The last two presidential elections have been disappointments in the candidates. Neither of the candidates I voted for in the last two presidential primaries got on the ticket in November. Then again, I tend to vote for the guy (or girl, although it hasn't happened yet in a Presidential race, I did vote for Tammy Duckworth among other female candidates in other offices, and no, I did not vote for either Trump or Hillary in 2016, I voted for the Libertarian since I disliked both the donkey and the elephant in the ballot) I think has the best policies or will do the best job and ignore his poll ratings or popularity.

I would be surprised if Biden would go for a second term in 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump would try to become POTUS again in 2024, if he does, I'm afraid no other candidate will stand any chance as the Republican candidate, though I hope they will bring up a more decent one. And I have good hopes that all other Americans will be united again to vote to prevent Trump from getting a second term.

I was surprised by the candidates in 2016 and 2020 as well. Apparantly you have to be very old, ok Hillary wasn't (and very rich) to become the president of the US nowadays. Feels like money / influence is too important, with over 300 million inhabitants, is that the best both parties have to offer?

If there were let us say four parties, one on the left of de donkey, and one between the donkey and the elephant. What animal names would you give them, and will you vote for either.

The parliament I vote in has about a dozen or so political parties, give or take one or two. My government is run by a coalition of four parties working together(The Netherlands). So for me the choice between only two candidates is so, and I apologize for bluntness, wrong. It is not democratic. Its is a duocratie.

I can understand that many people did not like the Wicked witch of the Midwest and voted on the D. That the Big D rolled a 1.... well let us say it was not his fault, but the die's.

Indeed. But perhaps instead of going he would roll for president in a wheelchair? :geezer:

Since when do Canadians, Mexicans and all other Americans have a vote in the US presidency?

Of course it is. 300 Million inhabitants are meaningless - you have to be an electable adult citizen and fulfill some additional conditions. Which means Arnold won´t be able to become POTUS unless the laws are changed (only people being born within the territorry of the USA are eligible - which means people like George Washington who were born in an english colony before the USA existed were illegally presidents... )

The US had and has a lot of parties.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_parties_in_the_United_States

The political system is just undemocratic as "one man, one vote" is not always true as the voting guys / state are an obsolete indirect way to move the vote to the capital from a time where it still took weeks to travel there and should be done away with so that every vote is worth exactly as much as the other and not 1 voting guy is worth a few thousand more votes in one state than in another state.

Ahem, Netherlands are still a koningriejk or whatever that is spelled. Perhaps a constitutional one but a Kingdom is formally excluded from being a democracy...
