It's a very rare person who convinces me that his or her extreme cockiness is justified. But such was Ali.

Whatever you might say about him, he was extremely colorful, both in and out of the ring.

True. I know it is popular to say he was the greatest of all time. I admit , I would have like to see him against Tyson or a klitscho in a prime vs. prime fight. The other thing that bothers me is when people say he had Parkinson's. I don't believe he did. He had Parkinson's like symptoms from repeated concussions from fighting. At least that is my opinion. But I am a cpa not a doctor.

    Pun not intended, Beren? :shake:

But yea, Ali was a legend, pure and simple.

Heh, he would have destroyed Tyson if both were fighting in their primes. He knew how to box, Tyson's claim to fame was that he was a force of nature, but none of the people he fought could actually box like Ali.

    RIP.

Ali would have frustrated the hell out of Tyson. Would have been fun to watch though.

Tyson wouldn't stand a chance in hell, but I agree, it would be fun to watch.

Thoughts on the klitscho brothers? I actually think they would frustrate Ali with their size and power and that they are skilled fighters.
