    I really liked that PC and she was gone so soon. Does she make a reappearance toward the end of the game? Spoiler welcomed.

    If you're talking about Calisca, the woman that temporarily joins you in the prologue - she dies. no matter what you do.
    If you enter the ruins with both her and Heodan and allow Heodan to rest and heal up, she wil have left when you wake up - you will find her dead on the floor of trapped tiles.
    You can kill all the monsters and disarm the traps before resting, but she will still die outside the ruins where the members of the leaden key are.
    And lastly, if you make it through the ruins as per normal, both Calisca and Heodan die from the ritual that the Leaden key performs with the machine.

    They were decent NPCs, and Heodan was the only joinable rogue in the game (pew-expansion). It was a shame you couldn't keep them, both also had interesting backgrounds.

    Yeah, i wouldn't have minded taking either of them along for my party either.
    I guess you could re-create them in as a hired adventurer, but they would be lacking in banter/interjections.
