Actually I was referring to John Lennon . When I was a kid I used to like to draw him. For the most part I never draw from copy-write material or iconic images. Someone posted a really well known John Lennon photo on FB and I got nostalgic and decided I wanted to draw it again. I'm on the fourth sketch and it's finally is starting to feel like him.

 

So it is haunting you?

 

Lol I was going to say some other stuff about not really believing in ghosts however I think in this case the term haunting is justified. This will be the last drawing so he's not going to haunt me further .

I've been lost in TV tropes hell for two days.

 

I noticed all kinds of sliders in the graphics menu of Dragon age going the wrong way.

Drastic measures were required, resulting in a r9 290

 

Or you could've waited until they patched it properly and saved yourself a lot of money.

Mind you, I expect chances of them patching it properly are fairly low to non-existant.

 

I'll wait a couple of years for all the patches and DLCs to come out. Should be just around the time when I get bored of replaying Eternity and Torment.

And yes, I got 4 games as a gift from AMD. I got Tombraider, Raints row 4, darksiders and civilization beyond earth. Paid 250 euro's.

 

Darksiders and Saints Row 4 are pretty fun.

 

Saint's Row 4 is a bundle of fun, Darksiders looks to be quite fun as well. And 250 euro is a pretty good deal.

 

I'm a big fan of the Darksiders franchise. The first game has some mechanical issues on the PC, but that's par for the course with PC ports.

 

It's always weird when I decide to finish something that I've been putting off for 5+ years. My inner procrastinator voice is like, "Dude, it's been half a decade, it can wait a little longer."

Not much new except this new thing called my bachelor's degree ! I finally did it, I'm done with university ! It took some bureaucratic nonsense and a lot of yelling at people, who in retrospect didn't deserved it but meh. Apparently it's harder to get it done when a third of your classes were done in a different University.

Although no one in any of my classes told me about the waiting, I've been searching for work since September basically and I've yet to find any Tell me how I'm supposed to get work experience if no one will hire me ? No, I don't have work experience I just got out of college, whadya expect ?

Also it's one thing to live with mum and dad while you're in college, but now that I'm officially Flix, BA it's harder to swallow. Well call me a linguist, 'cause I've got the paper work to prove it

On the other hand I've got plenty of free time to play Dragon Age Inquisition, so there's that. Origin says I've sank 86 hours on it, and I haven't finished it yet. Let alone the second play through I'm planning.

Heh, I've apparently sunk 159 hours into it, and I haven't completed it either .

Granted, I've restarted twice now,pretty far in... First because Knight Enchanter is sooooo very boring, second because hair looks stupid in this game, and I could not stand looking at my character in conversations anymore .

 

Are you kidding me ? I love my Dalish Knight-Enchanter. Granted it's a bit OP I can just set up a barrier then simply hold the "not a light saber" button until everything dies. But I'm ok with that, I don't play Bioware games for the combat anyway, never had. I do it for the writing, to explore interesting and well crafted worlds, hell even for the dialogue. But combat ? Nooope, so yeah I'm ok with my ridiculously powerful mediaeval fantasy jedi.

Also, wait the past tense of to sink is sunk ? I honestly thought it was sank.

Past tense of to sink is sank. Past perfect is sunk (notice also oli uses I've [...] sunk). And I'm not even a native english speaker.

Anyway, congrats! And yeah, it's a pain when you haven't got experience and every job seems to require experience. Just keep on trying, you'll succeed eventually. Just wait until you do and then start looking for another job after a while. Then it turns out you'll have too much experience. Really, recruiters and managers are just never satisfied!

Bioware is not for combat, no. They seem to have only a very rudementary grasp of what makes fun gameplay. Thank the pantheon for exploits, right?
