    Fireworks consumption is a bit down here since a fireworks factory blew up back in 2004. Miraculously only one firefighter was killed, but people learned that fireworks can actually be dangerous if mishandled.

    I like fireworks. Never even bothered with a will save, but instead use a budget save.

    Still got some fireworks, mainly sky-rockets. My sister likes those.

    Fireworks at Rotterdam were good. I was standing just a little way on the north side of the bridge.

    First of all Happy 2014 folk.

    I just got my final results, I passed every class, yay me. It's funny how an "A" for a really really easy class doesn't gets me happy as a "C" in a really hard one. Syntax (the class I've got a C in) was really hard for me, I never studied that hard in my entire life. C, isn't terribly good either, but still. I'm not really looking towards doing a Master or PHD so getting not terribly good grades doesn't really bother me.

    Halfway through and still alive. Can't wait for April 2015, graduation baby. I'll be Flix, BA -- :cool: :lol: aren't I awesome ?

    I'll be able to get a real paying job with a great made up sounding name and everything. Possibly even health benefit or something :cool:

    Also the hot water tube thingy in the garage froze or something, there's no hot water. That's just fantastic .

    The great thing about a BA degree is that it will expand your vocabulary. For example, you'll be able to call it a "hot water doohickey" rather than a "thingy". :p

    Well day two of no hot water; we tried defrozing the damn pipes to no avail. We'd call the damn landlord but he's on holliday until Monday. And I've also discovered that lack of showering makes me cranky. Damn Winter... :grr:

    I doubt it's frozen pipes; you'd have no cold water either if that were the case. I assume when you turn on a hot water tap, cold water comes out, not nothing? If so, it's whatever that does the heating of the water for you is not working.

    No that's the weird part, we have cold water just no *hot water . When I turn on the cold tap, water comes out, when I turn on the hot tap, nothing, nada, zip, zilch.
