    Remove all ads!
    It was the "edited by" trick, as the boards used to show edits in a different way. Also, I needed to check threads you started because the find posts mechanism only goes up to 500 posts (and they are the most recent 500 not the oldest).

    Yeah, but that involves multiple forum searches. I go to the profile and the statistics tab and either show all post by (if 500 or less) or show all threads started by (if more).

    The way I did it was I clicked on "Search" on the top of the page (not the forum/thread specific one that is below it), advanced search, typed in Marceror as the poster I was searching and set the results to be displayed oldest to newest, so my result was my 500 oldest posts from all forums.

    When you reverse the year, drop the "2", then add the day (26), you get 136. :)

    According to my screen on the initial boards page at the bottom, the most people on the boards occurred the prior day. I'm wondering if that's just a time adjustment thing and you meant that.

    Sorcerer's Place has been around since 1999, but the first post wasn't made until Tue, 13th Jun 2000. Why was there such a long delay between launch and the first post?

    (Mind you, I don't know the answer to this question, but I'm sure we have some chaps around here that can enlighten us all).

    Initially, the website was mostly a download and companion resource to the #baldursgate IRC channel where most of my activity was at the time. I didn't really expect that it'd go anywhere beyond that... but a year or so in it was obvious by the amount of activity in our guestbook and the number of e-mails I was getting on a daily basis that it'd be more convenient to have a forum where everyone could participate. That, and a lot of the site visitors actually requested it... I think I even ran a poll asking about it back then.

    Try this without searching for the thread or module.

    For BG2, we had our own SP members item pack. A module with items named after our members, for which Beren (a.o. ) cooked up many fancy item descriptions. But who created the module (and started the thread)?
