where can I find the tables for what class gets what ability or spell at what level? I don't have the books and shouldn't have to go buy them to play a video game. Lol

Isn't what the manual? Did you forget the link? :p

Well I found all kinds of stuff on that sight but not what I was really looking for. I'm trying to find the chart/table that says who gets how many attacks per turn

He means that all games come with a manual, and most of the charts/tables are covered by the BG2 manual. I remember most of the tables were on the bottom part.

The attacks per round each class gets is about the only thing not found in the manual, but it's simple enough. Fighters, barbarians, paladins and rangers gain 1/2 attack per round every six levels plus one, up to a maximum of 2 attacks per round. This means they get 1/2 attack at levels 7, 13, and 19. Monks gain 1/2 attack per round every three levels, to a maximum of 4 attacks per round. Everyone else is stuck with 1 attack per round. Very annoying.

That is per the AD&D 2nd edition player's hand book, only warriors get more than one attack per round. It was explicitly stated in one of the core books.

I'm trying to recall if there was an exception for the swashbuckler since IIRC was supposed to be a sort of human fighter/thief multiclass, but I no longer have access to the appropriate sourcebook (my former group pooled the books into a single library we all shared, but when we broke up everyone took the books they bought & paid for about 15 years ago).

Negative at level 19. One attack at level 1, 3/2 at level 7, Note some weapons, particularly ranged weapons may have a greater rate of fire. Bows and throwing daggers, when thrown, grant a base of 2 attacks per round and darts give a base of three. You can also net an extra attack by putting a weapon in your shield hand.

Yep, sorry bout that. One 1/2 attack bonus each at levels 7 and 13, for a total of 2 attacks per round.
