    Well Election day here in Quebec, just voted. Nothing left to do but wait for the results. Polls closes at 8PM though. Plus I begin work for real tomorrow. So far it's been a good week. Go Democracy*

    Yeah that's a pretty understandable thought there Flix. I still remember the night before I started my current job I barely slept at all I was so worried. The fact that I had to wake up at 5:20 to catch the train didn't help, especially considering the fact that for the previous six months I was waking up around 10 each day! Just give it time, once you get past the first few days being overwhelmed with information it will get better.

    In other news, there are two games I have preordered that come out on the 18th: BGEE & Borderlands 2. Since I'll be on a plane all day I definitely won't be able to play Borderlands, and since my preorder for BGEE is for the PC the only way I'll get to play it is if I pay even more to get it for the iPad. Even then, it sounds like the cloud saving feature won't be ready at launch so I wouldn't even be able to switch back to the computer if I wanted to!

    Wow, after reading that over I feel like such a privileged little twit. If this is the biggest source of grief in my life then I definitely shouldn't be complaining!

    In that case, I wish you a lot of chaos. :)

    It was hot today, and I decided to clean my house. Makes sense to some extend: If I get outside, I'll catch fire :p, or at least a sunburn, especially with my "haircut". So I stayed inside for a change and got some cleaning done. Was about time, I should admit. And I finally found the energy and will to do it.
    Oh well, the chaos in my house didn't kill me. :D

    That reminds me, I've still got a garage full of crap to clean out and organize... *sigh* Because I hate knowing I've got something in there but can't find it even more than I hate organizing it all again...

    But it's the same with all small spaces that are filled to the max - the moment you start slacking and not re-organizing things and sorting them back after every use, a few years down the line you'll have nearly the same mess again as in the beginning.

    Each time I think of Garage Sales, I think of the Jahmaicon announcer in The Babylon in "Def Jam: Fight for New York" after you knocked someone out in a brawl:

    Exactly, Tal. Can't believe the stuff I find in some drawers: remote control of something, clothelines, tealights, a quarter of a chessboard, buttons, wires, soundcards (I guess), a fuse, screw terminals, batteries, hair clipper guards.
    Half of it can be thrown away, the other half should be stored at their proper places. Uugh.
    I should make a video called "Get organized or die trying"

    Urh, let's just say things didn't worked out at the job. Apparently it's common practice in the call centre business to hire more people then needed and only keep the best. Meh, back to square one. Oh well, I heard the Medisys group (private clinic) needs an archive clerk. With the two years at Uni in History I know my way around archives. Let's hope I'll get it and keep it.

    OTOH Next Saturday is Montreal Comicon with special guests William Shatner and Patrick Stewart (among other). Can't wait ! Got my tickets since August. It's gonna be awesome, where else can a guy openly speaks Klingon and not feel like a complete dork ?
    Let there be geeks and wonderful none sense ! That'll cheer me up.
