    It feels good to be back at the university after a long unintended hiatus. I'm just angry that 60% of my professors have chosen out of print books as required materials. I now have to hunt for books all over the city to find a single copy. Meh !

    [​IMG] In the UK it's required that any required books for a course has to be in the university library as well (along with 24 hour internet access as you aren't allowed to presume a student can afford computer equipment, books and internet access.)

    Oh there's a copy available at the library, singular, one book for 27 students. Yeaaaah ? Still I've managed to get my hand in copies of each of them at a used books store for an outrageous price. 60-80$ each. Urgh.

    Anyway, on a more happy note I've made blueberry muffins ! They're fresh out of the oven and they smell awesomely good.

    Well that sucks, my university recently announced that now our assigned email address would be available via smartphone. I was glad Finally, I thought, they decided to join the 21st century, so I promptly went online to see the instruction on how I could do this only to find out it's only available to iPhones . Thing is I've got an Android phone. Since when does smartphone means iPhone ? I thought the very term was invented to end this very confusion, y'know like tissue vs Kleenex. Needless to say I'm angry.

    ps: apparently Chrome's auto spell check doesn't allow the pluralization of the word iPhone, even though it recognize it in the singular form.
