    [​IMG] Hazel, though the green aspect is a greyish-green, got an amber ring in the middle of the iris which can look odd in the right light (Greyish eyes with a rather bright orange bit in the middle :D)

    I got me a pair of baby blues. For some reason, which scares me, mother-in-laws and mother's of girlfriends find them extremely attractive and like to note it immediately upon the first meeting. Makes me pull a "Brave, Brave Sir Robin" everytime.

    Kind of a odd mix here. My birth certificate says green. My mom says blue\gray. People I meet say brown. So I dunno. Maybe they change.

    My eldest had greyish-brownish eyes at birth, but soon changed to blue. My youngest we thought were bluish at birth but are now a dark brown. I have yet to meet the person who can explain it.(Something tells me a few explanations are forth coming though...)

    I don't know what causes it, but I do know that young animals often are born with blue eyes (well, after they open, of course). I know for a fact that kittens have blue eyes when they're young, which will change colour after a couple of months to whatever colour they will have for the rest of their lives (usually yellowish, but this may vary).

    Actually, a lot of dames don't like "girl". One chick in our office used to say stuff like "you go, girl", but the other broads soon set her straight.
