I think he favours quantity over quality. Not a bad choice for random babbling, I guess.

Megadrive II arrived today. Still in the original box, with copies of Sonic 1 and 2. A thing of beauty. Now if only I could find a SNES to fill that gap!

Edit: Oops, I already had a thread for this..

Darn just lost my job, right when I was thinking of moving out of the house. :( I wanted to take a year off uni, work full time and finaly having my own place, but my current job cannot keep me because I wouldn't be a student. Tomorrow's my last day ! That will be weird... My head hurts, I've reviewed 1200+ job offers on the intertubes with about 1 or 2 % that would be relevent to me. Meh.

Helping a friend move on Saturday, and as everyone knows helping someone move is a debt payable in blood. He will owe me, mwa ah ah ah ah ah [cue evil music]

Ack, peeps, I was hoping I was just kidding! I hope treatment goes smoothly, that's still not a fun disease to have, even if it is treatable these days.

I got attacked by a dentist today, and the pain is phenomenal! Not even Percocet is knocking the pain down, although it has made me feel drunk off my keister!

When asked to help someone move, your answer should always be "Sorry, having surgery performed that day..."

Just for kicks, I decided to configure a NCIX system to see how much one could spend on a new PC. Apparently $8,000 (including moniitor and other peripherals) is not impossible. So I'm feeling pretty darned good about the $1.5k system I'm thinking about...

With exotica like TB sized SSD and PCI-E SSD RAID cards you can push the price somewhat higher still, and feel even better about yourself. And then, there is the Emperor 1510. At least you don't buy an emperor.

I was playing Civilization V, my war with Mongolia ended in a stalemate. I lost most of my forces but I did conquered one city, Turfan, Gengis' most productive cities (hammer-wise) at least I severely diminishing his industrial capacity. I also utterly annihilated his fleet :D with minimal damage to mine. In Civ V, the English truly shine in an archipelago map. The war reminded me of Athens war with Sparta, i.e. a maritime force (me) vs a land-based force (Gengis), Damn Keshiks !

Anyway... the most awesome thing (or the lamest, depending on your point of view) was that I could scream at my screen " KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN "

    :D

Edit: Sometimes, when I play CIV, I like to wiki the cities I conquer for the fun of it. Turfan is in Uighur ? O Rly ? (Uyghur ? how do you spell that )

Edit 2: Did Tal, installed some kind of localized add thingy ? I just saw an add in French here on BOM, I thought it was odd.

I had 1TB of SSD (actually 2 512MB), but forgot about RAID. I also missed speakers. So it could probably push $9k.

Job hunting sucks. Long live socialism.

    I enabled crossfire.

I just realised that socialism will make it harder to enable crossfire since everybody will have the same single card.
