Since there's one for BG2, why not one for DA?

Duncan - Liam Neeson. Admit it, he's got the lock on 'tough, older, dignified mentors ultimately doomed to die and be avenged by the real hero' type roles.

Alistair - Matthew Goode. Sure, he can kick ass again a la Oxymandias. My only concern is can he pull of the Alistair wit?

    King Cailan - Alex Pettyfer.

    Teryn Loghain - Cirian Hinds

Morrigan - Kate Beckinsale. All she has to do is combine her Charlotte Pringess b****iness with her take no prisoners attitude from Underworld.

Flemeth - Charlotte Rampling. Here I think you need somebody who can pass off as once beautiful, but now older, and with some sort of familial resemblance to Morrigan. Thus Charlotte.

    Wynne - Helen Mirren.

Leliana - Ludivine Sagnier. Sorry, the French accent has to be real for this role.

    Marjolaine - Juliette Binoche.

More later, if I can think of others ...

I thought they were making a short DA series on the Syfy channel.

I believe the series you refer to will be a web series. Not sure that it is planned to television release. As far as I know, it's a completely new story with new characters, so there's still plenty of room for casting a movie based on DA:O.

If anything the new series is closer to a Dragon Age 2 movie, as Felicia Day will have those backward Elven bunny ears that were introduced in DA2.
