    What a week! Saved for 4 months to buy a game to replace the crap version that requires an 800+ meg patch. Sold by the big A bye the way. No longer sold in the US so I went to Amazon UK and signed in. They will sell it to me but..... won't ship it to the US. I used my money for something good and turned my machine off. It never came on again so I'm sitting at a 10 year old reliable machine and feeling better. I counted up the Dell repairs and it is,

    3 mother boards
    2 CPU (i think)
    1 HD
    2 mice
    2 monitors
    4 memory sticks (I only use 2 so failed twice)
    2 power supplies
    4 vid cards (I bought 2 and 1 still works! Dell is not getting near it!)
    2 modems

    I think thats all, on the good side they are replacing my lemon with a newer machine instead of repairing it again. Yeah!!!!
    Saving up again for the game I want and I will get it somehow even if I have to swim over to the UK.
    Last babble, ya know, I like this slow old stone age computer and remember why I used it so long keeping it set up for no good reason.

    The oldies always upset me. I listen to the radio and they say they're going to play an old song and it turns out to be one I used to listen to when it first came out!

    Silvery, all relationships are based on shared experiences and building a relationship takes time. The only things you really need to do as a step-parent are: keep her safe, be supportive of her, and respect her as a person. If you do those things the relationship will grow in its own way.

    An ex can really make it difficult. My sister's husband has two kids and his ex has really poisoned the relationship with really cruel and stupid stuff. It's pretty rough on them.

    Yep. His ex is a nightmare at times! Ah well, this isn't the place for it.

    Ashley and I are watching Fireman Sam while waiting for our cupcakes to bake. All he's bothered about is that we have stick on faces that he can eat :lol:
