Well, signed that. Now I'm crying all over again and STILL mad at him. Silly bugger. I'm really going to miss him

 

There's not many more saddening things in this world than seeing someone you know in the obituaries....

 

Just had a look at the services on the funeral home site. It's bloody expensive so it's good to know we're helping out a bit

 

This is my first and possibly last post on here, I had to do some searching to even find this place, but I'm a friend of Aaron's (Kitrax). It's amazing to see you guys pulling together to help out his family with the funeral expenses. I'm sure they will appreciate it very much. I'm a member of other forums and it's amazing to see people come together like this, it's a rare thing, so it's something to be remembered and to be proud of.

He was a great guy, the life of the party often times, and was a great barkeep, he knew how to make killer kamakaze's, and it was a pleasure to have been able to hang out with him and have a few beers. I didn't know him very long, only the last year or two, but it was long enough to have made lasting memories, ones that I won't ever forget. His ability to make everyone laugh, even when they were down, is something that's unforgettable.

So, though I'm not at liberty to speak for his family, I will say thank you to you all as one of his friends. We will be sure to remember him in our own ways and to remember him for his life, not for his death, as was his last wish of us.

 

Thank you, Anubi, for sharing that with us. Ki was a long time member of this forum and also a member of our related chat roo, The Friendly Arms Inn. He had a busy personal life but always found time to help others out or just drop in for a chat.

Thank you for your kind words about Sorcer's Place. Tal has made this Internet home for some of us and we are family. Please feel free to join us as we have a lot going on here and always welcome a new comer.

 

Dear lord, I just figured this was going to be a humorous thread about Kitrax leaving the community for a while. I'll never look at a good-bye thread the same way again. My condolences go out to everyone here, his friends, and his family. He was a good man.

 

No, thank YOU. He did have a very busy life, but he always made time for those who needed it, and to hang out with those who enjoyed having him around. I've been shown a portion of his goodbye note, he had a lot of issues that he was battling and they seemed to be overbearing, I completely understand how he felt overloaded and that there was seemingly no way out, many of us have felt that way, I just wish he had made a different choice or seeked out other options, but that is something that can never be changed.
He was a great guy, one that will be missed by his family, his friends, and his family on this forum.

I will try to come back here, it's hard to remember sometimes, but this does seem like a great community, be proud of yourselves for being as close as you are and lifting each other up. I hope to see you all soon. I'll check up on this thread later when I come back to work.

I stumbled upon this and am shocked despite never being in conversation with Kitrax.
Saddens me nevertheless.

 

Donation made. What an awesome community. Will Kitrax's family know that it came from Sorcerer's Place? How will we actually tell them?
