    'Bout time!

I need to go shooting soon...but I've got a bachelor's party to go to this Saturday night, work the next day (don't have to be there 'till noon), work another half day on Monday and Tuesday, AND I have a date on Tuesday night!

So...since work seems to be getting in the way....I know what I must do.

Hrm, one would think I actually was missed. Odd feeling to consider. As for leaving, sometimes one has to step back and rethink things. Or in my case running the fog generator at full throttle for an extended period of time. And I also bashed some more now-mangled pieces of metal, odd curves and jagged edges testifying serious anger management. And I now know who I call friends here.

    Fog is good. :hippy:

I've heard a crazy rumour tonight, a friend of mine has heard that GTA 5 could take place in... Paris. Now that would be a fantastic setting for a GTA game.

[IMG] Welcome back, hope we'll see you around more :) Feeling better I hope?

I'm trying to find out if I've been given the wrong prescription medication  have fallen very sick and only thing I can think of is the meds I've been given that haven't had their usual side affects. Problem is I was prescribed an odd number so they were put into a bottle, not given in a box so where the pills are white, oval and unmarked I can't check what they are. There wasn't even the right number of pills in the bottle :(

You should bring them back and ask the pharmacists or doctor to check them out. Don't mess with meds!

[IMG] Yeah, believe me I know, being ill on an empty stomach is painful if nothing else :o

I had to fight seven hours to get the prescription for Co-Proxamol in the first place, then went to the pharmacy where I was told I would have to wait a week for the order to be processed as the drug is no longer licensed they no longer stock it. I then got a call the next morning saying it was ready for me for pick up.

However I had an appointment in two days to discuss alternative medication, so I avoided taking them. Ended up taking some drug that killed me as a person and may have caused heart and nervous system damage on the five days I was on it.

Went back on Co-proxamol three days ago, well, what I thought was the co-proxamol. I've had none of the side affects I usually get. Got Dysphoria at one stage but I get that semi-regularly when I'm *not* on the meds.

So... I guess it's trying to figure out if this brand is vastly different, as they are unmarked and unpackaged I can't check - there shouldn't be a difference, or figure out if incompetance or malice has alterred my prescription. Both the doctor and the pharmacist were very angry at me insisting I get my painkillers, and I've had a pharmacist slip me something that I wasn't meant to have before because "they knew better" :(

Completely umarked tablets I thought weren't approved in the UK though, which is also odd.

Send them to Lore, I'm sure she can deconstruct them to the molecular level and tell you if they're the same. :thumb:

    Also, from Wiki:
Yeah...I wouldn't take pills that have been withdrawn from the market. :mommy:

A chance to power up the Evil Lab of Evil? *tips hat to Dr. Horrible* Where are my goggles? :p

On a serious note, though, It wouldn't be much use.

It's possible that the pills have the right drugs but different pharmacokinetic profile (if they are from a different manufacturer). Theoretically, they shouldn't be issued as a therapeutic replacement if their bioavailability is different, but since this changes from person to person (other factors aside) and the drugs are quite likely from old supplies (first time I heard of tablets directly mixing paracetamole and an opioid - not surprising they are trying to avoid them in general) it's likely that 8 is right and the pills aren't doing what they should for her. Doesn't even take malice / mistake.

Remember the Neverending Abyss of Marketing and Management in Pharmacy Practice? The exam is in 20 mins. Yikes.

Also, I got freaked out by fireworks (Serbia-Cameroon game) on Saturday.

    Phobia of humans. Never fun.

I'm so tired! We've spent all weekend pulling up floors. Ashley also woke us up at 4am yesterday and then we were up until midnight getting stuff sorted out. Uhhhhh......

WOOOOO!!! The store called me and they received my couch! I chose it the first week of march. I've been waiting for it ever since. I don't have a couch, so it's been hell since I've moved in. Plus, because of this, there's a lot of stuff I haven't gotten out of the moving boxes (to see where I would have the space to put them). I will finally feel completly at home! Yay! Only, it will be delivered on the 19th... :almostmad:

WTF? Is this couch hand made in central Russia with squirrel leather? :skeptic: When I bought my last couch/loveseat, I picked them out and paid for them on the showroom floor, and they were delivered to my house 2 days later....for free. :D

In other news, I have fully recovered from my buddy John's bachelor's party. After doing some mediocre activities around town for a few hours, we all went back to his place and got wasted. Around 11pm, our DD's drove us all to Utah's best strip club (that's not saying much). We finally left around 5am...at that point, I had been awake for 24 hours, I was still drunk as all hell, and I had spent over $200 at the strip club.

LOL, I guess... Some stores have a horrible delivery department. They didn't have it in stock orignally, they told me they would receive it the 10th of april. They kept pushing back the dates over...and over... aaaaaaaaand over...

I had bought my bed there, and since I was out of town for work when they delivered it, my father waited at my appartment (which of course is between 8 am and 5 pm). My father waited until 6h30pm and they still hadn't showed up. He called the store and they were all lost and didn't know what happened. We had to schedule another delivery the week after... :shame: I must say though, I chose my couch a couple of days after I bought the bed, so I didn't know they have 5 year olds managing the delivering department...
