    wb Nakia :)

I went to Belgium today, for a stroll in the moor around Eupen, and to have some fries, and then I purchased some material for my empirical studies into Belgian beer.

Speaking of booze...Do any of you guys know anything about Crystal Head Vodka? The bottle looks amazing...but it's $50+ and I'd have to drive out of state just to get it; so I want to know if the quality of the vodka is any good. I could care less about Dan Aykroyd's involvement in it...a celeb's endorsement is worth $50 to me. But if the vodka is of excellent quality, then I'd be willing to drop $50 along with the cost/time of going up to Evanston, WY just to get some. :yum:

(Note: Booze cannot be shipped to customers in UT...that's why I have to go to Evanston to get it. :( )

I'm pretty sure good Polish vodka is much cheaper (and I know for a fact it is much cheaper over here).

Kit, you drink Gray Goose ... it can't be worse. You should try Tommy Gun Vodka.

As far as Polish Vodka is concerned ... Sobiesky is an excellent low cost vodka and I'd recommend Chopin for a nice potato vodka.

To all managers, marketing specialists, accountants and economy majors out there: To which of the Nine Hells did you have to go and who did you talk to/sacrifice/sign a contract with to get initiated into the terminology of the stuff? :p

Spent my whole afternoon wrestling a rather basic (and horrid) textbook of it and it still makes more sense upside down with a fish tank on top.

There is absolutely no substance behind the words... and most of the words are butchered borrowed remains of phrases that have unrelated meanings in the real world. Almost as if someone was just looking for short, smart sounding expressions that can get thrown around a conference hall, and point got lost along the way. Could be just the textbook.
    It's almost fascinating.

Then you probably have a bad book :p Management can be quite interesting but you have to read past the cruft that is so inherent in their field.

[IMG] Kev went to a job interview an hour ago, wasn't given a definite yes as they had to speak to another woman about it as he would be on her team.

Just got a phone call. He's been promoted.

He hasn't even started work yet! :)

Grey Goose isn't the only brand of vodka I drink...it's just my favorite. I drink Skyy, Absolute, Pinnacle, Finlandia, Vox, and Belvedere vodkas. It really all depends on what's on sale, and what the intended use is. I like Grey Goose, Vox, Belvedere, and Skyy 90 straight. Everything else is for mixed coctails or Jell-O shots. :yum:

Ugh, God I hate when my cat bring me "gifts". Poor poor little teeny field mouse, and she brought it all the way upstairs to my bedroom *shudder*

Sometimes having cats isn't so awesome...

Edit: Make that two mice now. She's on a roll it seems...

Hah, that was interesting, thanks. Slightly wrong though, dogs actually have a higher frequency threshold than cats do.

My dog decided to kill a bird today... got her away after she had eaten the head and tore the wing off... she looks like she's lazy as all get out but when she decides to move, wow she's quick!

Well, my mother has a tumor on her thyroid, and a biopsy could not confirm if is is benign or malignant. So, now she gets to go in to have the whole thing removed. I'm really hoping it's benign...

Sorry to hear that, Stef. :( Hope it all goes well.

Morgoth: It was the book. Once one survives the first 150 pages, the rest was fairly readable.

I think it might be time to take my BG1 party through the mines. I've gotta get them to the end of the game at some point, maybe then I can play BG2 and actually enjoy it.

Edit: Just weighed Izzy, 26g! She's put on weight since we got her :)

Try not to think of the worst case scenario Stefanina. Morale is very important in situations such as these.

Speaking of worst case scenario....has anyone seen that show yet? I saw a preview for the episode where the car he's driving has complete brake failure, and he does all these evasive maneuvers to slow/stop the car...but at no point did he even attempt to target pedestrians...which, as we all know, make excellent speed bumps for slowing a car down. :p

Apparently I woke up on the 'unusually evil' side of the bed this morning...it's alright though, I got to make sure that my reserved throne in Hell won't be given away.

    @Kit,
I didn't beat them up (I'm not DotW ;)) but I apparently gave them such a vicious stare that they backed off. :)
