    When I was young and idealistic, believing that tradition was supremely important, I was a big fan of the monarchy. Now that I'm older, slightly less idealistic, and believe that tradition is merely highly important, I am against the whole blasted thing. I would like nothing better than to sever our ties to the British Monarchy and become a Republic like our neighbour to the south. It is possible to honor the past without being enslaved to it.

    Oh, Morgoth, I had forgotten the 3D porn used by Blinken in Men in Tights. That was a classic film-- "you vow, we MOVE!"

    I hardly think that Canada is "enslaved" to the British monarchy. But for the last half century, it's just been a stupid (and expensive) tradition that nobody other than a few senior citizens care about.

    Damn...I had one of those typical internet moments. I've been chatting with a chick online for a week or so. Her profile pic is gorgeous...but then she sends me a bunch of normal, non-professional, photos of herself...and SWEET MOTHER OF GOD! Don't eat me!!!! :eek:

    Whoever the photographer was who took her profile pic needs to be given an award and millions of dollars. The guy is a photography master!

    Seriously though, all the "normal" photos of her scare the s**t out of me.

    Oh, and yes...I am *that* shallow. :holy:
