I agree. I thought Hopkins was a bit campy, to be honest. Plus, Lecktor/Lecter was originally intended as a support character, which IMO somehow made him more imposing. I was more afraid of him (Cox) sitting in his cell looking reservedly insane than out running around loose with the near-magical powers he was given in Silence of the Lambs and especially Hannibal (Hopkins).

Funny. I watched both National Treasure movies yesterday. Haven't seen them before.

Why do people think so bad of those?

    I was certainly entertained.

Man, it's been many years since I saw that.

But yeah, it's a really great movie. :)

Saw Fargo again yesterday. No wonder for me that Frances McDormand got an Academy Award for that.

This evening I saw Escape from New York. Love that. :) I'm a big John Carpenter fan.

Machuca, twice, for class. A pretty good movie, actually. Sad.

I need more free time to catch up on some classics, though. And the Hurt Locker, I need to see that soon.

Couldn`t sleep last night, so I watched 3 movies. Exit Wounds, with Steven Seagal (not bad but not great), Command Performance (brand new one with Dolph Lundgren as a drummer, taking on russian terrorists. Surprisingly good, given the low budget). Last one was Transformers the movie (the old one from the 80s. Felt nostalgic).

"Office space". Hilarious. Known to anyone?
Before that, "The day the earth stood still" and "Iron man". Both quite good, but not perfect.

I finally made some friends and colleague watch it, and it's great to share some running gags with them now. like: "Whaaat's happening." and stuff... I work in a fairly related environment and finally my colleagues see TCS report everywhere as i do since years... ;-)

Watched Big Trouble In Little China last night. Still had the old magic.
And just concluded Boondock Saints II, if you loved the first one, you'll love this one as well.

Cool! I do love Boondock Saints. Nice to know that the sequel is good too.

Saw Superman Returns again yesterday. I really think it's a good superhero movie, and a worthy successor to the Christopher Reeve era.

    ---------- Added 5 hours, 13 minutes and 52 seconds later... ----------

Saw Numb with Matthew Perry today. Surprisingly good.
